The SEC announced another summit geared towards senior investing issues, to be held in Washington, DC on September 22, 2008. According to Chairman Cox, the focus of the summit will be to help seniors "make difficult decisions regarding their finances and learn new ways to protect their assets as they age..." The afternoon session of the summit will be geared towards financial industry folks, and will cover topics relating to serving senior citizens, including dealing with diminishing capacity issues. FINRA, the North American Securities
