Yesterday, New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo filed a lawsuit against Charles Schwab & Co., alleging that Schwab misled investors about the safety of auction-rate securities. Schwab is reportedly digging in for a fight, and has posted its pre-suit response to the NYAG office on its website.
